I wanted to tell you personally how much my wife and I enjoyed our recent stay. Your entire staff went out of the way to make us feel welcome and cater to our every whim.
The Starlight was the highlight of our trip to Bali. We loved everything about it, especially the peace and tranqulity, and the friendliness of everyone.
If we ever return to Bali, the Starlight will be our first destination.

Comments: Fantastic Restaurant in an idealic location We stayed at Sunari Hotel at Lovina however on a number of occasions we ventured 150 metres down the beach to Starlight Restaurant. We had lunch & dinner there a number of times & on each visit it was fantastic. The meals are all cooked fresh & are large proportions, the restaurant & kitchen are immaculate & the toilets are lovely & clean. Of an evening I would suggest getting a table out on the sand & only metres from the water for a real 'Bali Experience'. Just make sure you order a mosquito coil from the staff & they will also oblige by offering you with a bottle of repellent. Don't get me wrong, the place is not overun with 'mozzies' however is good to just have your legs protected to save an itch or two next day. They have a beachfront BBQ & chef cooking the freshest of local seafood & if it has not been caught that day then you will have to wait until another day; best to order a day in advance to save disappointment. Drink prices are quite reasonable & always really cold. The staff are fantastic & genuinely friendly & if time permits will have a chat to you & are so very helpful. There are also a number of large covered lounges that you can lay back & relax in, sip a drink & just let the whole Bali Experince engulf you! The restaurant manager, Komo is a fantastic guy & can help with many things including dolphin watching, snorkelling, trekking etc, just tell him you heard about him from Mr. Banteng (pronounced Bunteng). They also have accommodation available behind the restaurant, which I believe is clean, tidy, reasonably priced & has a pool. Just a little tip....Starlight Restaurant can be reached from the main road or walking along the beach however if you walk there of a night it may be handy to just carry a small torch because if there is no moon out it is quite dark negotiating the local boats & anchor lines. There are many restaurants but this one is among the best & the location of an evening, as mentioned, is idealic!!!! Thanks to everyone at Starlight, we will definetly be back. Comments: Onze eerste 2 nachten in Bali verbleven wij bij Starlight hotel, t.w. 30 juni en 1 juli. Totaal geen spijt dat ik dit hotel heb geboekt. De bungalows waren schoon, gezellig en knus ingericht. Alles was keurig en compleet. We konden zelfs een Nederlandse zender ontvangen op onze flatscreen tv. Dit hotel was een goede uitvalbasis om de highlights in de bovenste regionen van Bali te ontdekken, o.a.: Kintamani, Bedugul, Git git watervallen etc. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en inderdaad de lokale vocalgroep was een aangename verrassing 's avonds tijdens het diner. Het eten was ook overheerlijk. Kortom we hebben genoten bij Starlight in Lovina.
Er was niets wat ons tegenviel.

Comments: Small hotel in great location on beach
Simple rooms in good condition and friendly staff Was surprised how new this hotel seemed, great location, you could sit out the front on beach and have drinks etc. Excellent food in their resturant, staff very cheerful and friendly, lovely pool which we had to ourselves. We were sorry we only stayed here one night. Restaurant Tip: The seafood at the Starlight hotel was excellent.

Comments: “Very impressed” Nice welcome drink on arrival and very pleasant checking in service the cottages themselves where very spacious and clean and we really enjoyed the 3 days we spent here. The only down side was the showers they run from a solar panel so they don't stay hot at all Luke warm at best. The restaurant was nice and all the members of staff where very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. You are about 15mins walk into Lovina down the beach but I wouldn't advise walking back this way it's pitch black. Overall really nice place in a very quite part of Bali. Only advice would be get a cottage abit further back by the pool but you really can't go wrong with this place lovely.

Comments: We stayed at Starlight for 3 days from 2nd to 5th June in the family bungalow, we enjoyed the experience enormously and the restaurant location and menu was awesome. There was a choice of 3 different breakfast - American, Continental and Indonesian - so we had a different one every morning The first night we arrived there were musicians playing which was great over dinner. I would highly recommend this place to any traveler wanting a relaxing time and we will definitely go back again. I highly commend them also on having a facility to refill our water bottles cutting down on the waste of plastic bottles.

Comments: location was excellent, right at the beach, where a tasty dinner and ample breakfast were served too, while you're enjoining a wonderful view and sunset! Besides this, the Dolphin-morning tour, which can be booked at the hotel itself was a fantastic experience. there's only one set-back; the entrance doesn't look very chique, but that's fast forgotten when you experience all the other plusses.
